Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Longlevity ("the Service"), operated by Citron Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Citron Labs LLC.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. You may calculate estimates on behalf of others, including minors, but you assume full responsibility for any data you enter and any use of results obtained on behalf of another person.

3. Description of service

Longlevity is a free educational tool that provides estimated life expectancy based on publicly available population-level research, including U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) life tables and peer-reviewed mortality studies. All baseline life expectancy data is derived from U.S. population statistics and may not accurately reflect life expectancy in other countries. The Service is designed primarily for users in the United States and is intended solely to raise awareness about how lifestyle habits may influence longevity at a statistical population level.

4. Health & wellness disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE, DIAGNOSTIC TOOL, CLINICAL DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM, OR SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. The estimates provided are based on statistical averages from population-level data and do not account for your individual genetics, medical history, medications, pre-existing conditions, or other personal health factors.

You must not rely on the Service for any medical decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your diet, exercise, medications, or health routine. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

The Service does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and Citron Labs LLC. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity and make no claims of HIPAA compliance.

5. Accuracy & limitations

Life expectancy estimates are statistical approximations based on U.S. population data, not predictions of your actual lifespan. Estimates may be less accurate for users outside the United States, as life expectancy varies significantly by country due to differences in healthcare systems, environmental factors, and population demographics. Individual outcomes vary widely based on countless factors this tool does not and cannot measure. Research findings cited may become outdated as new studies are published. We make reasonable efforts to use reputable sources but do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of any data, calculations, or recommendations provided. You acknowledge that longevity science is an evolving field and that estimates may change as research progresses.

6. User accounts & data

You can take your first assessment without creating an account, and the data you enter is processed in your browser. If you choose to save your results, save a plan, or make a purchase, we create a free account keyed to your email address and store your assessment results, plan, and purchase history on our servers so you can return to them from any device. Any email address you provide is used only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy (delivering your results, account sign-in links, and reminders you can unsubscribe from at any time). You may delete your account and data at any time using the "Delete my data" link in any email we send. See our Privacy Policy for complete details on data handling.

7. Paid products & refunds

Longlevity is currently free. While we are in early access, the full product (your assessment, re-assessments, your plan, and your trajectory over time) is available at no charge, and there is nothing to purchase. We plan to introduce an optional membership, Longlevity Plus, as we grow; when we do, current prices will always be shown at checkout, in USD, and payments will be processed securely by Stripe. (A single Assessment product was previously offered; any purchased assessment credits remain honored.) The terms below describe how any paid product works, both for purchases made previously and for Longlevity Plus if and when we introduce it.

We never charge you automatically. We do not store any standing authorization to bill you, and there is no auto-renewal. If you hold a paid membership, before its term ends we will email you, and it renews only if you choose to make a new purchase. If you do nothing, it lapses back to the free tier and your saved data is kept.

Refunds. We want you to feel good about any purchase. If you have bought a paid product, you may request a full refund within 30 days:

To request a refund, use the "Request a refund" option in your account, or email contact@longlevity.ai. In-window requests are approved automatically, and the refund is issued to your original payment method via Stripe, typically appearing within 5 to 10 business days after approval. When we refund a purchase, your account returns to the free Member plan and your saved data is kept, not deleted, so it's right where you left it if you come back. One self-serve refund is available per account; any further requests are reviewed individually.

Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change. Any price changes will not affect purchases already completed.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, AND AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CITRON LABS LLC, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, HEALTH OUTCOMES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH: (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY DECISIONS MADE OR ACTIONS TAKEN BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE; (C) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA; (D) ANY THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT ON THE SERVICE; OR (E) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed $50 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Citron Labs LLC, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; (d) any content or data you provide through the Service; or (e) your sharing of results or information obtained from the Service with third parties.

11. Assumption of risk

You expressly acknowledge and agree that your use of the Service is at your sole risk. You assume full responsibility for any consequences resulting from your use of the Service, including any health-related decisions you make based on the information provided. You understand that life expectancy estimates are inherently uncertain and should not be the sole basis for any personal, financial, medical, or legal decisions.

12. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the Service; (c) scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our written permission; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (e) use the Service to provide medical, health, or insurance advice to others in a professional capacity; (f) misrepresent Service results as medically validated or clinically accurate; (g) circumvent any rate limiting, security measures, or access controls; (h) use the Service to discriminate against any person or group; or (i) transmit any malicious code, spam, or harmful content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated this section. If we terminate a paid account for reasons other than your material breach, we will refund any unused, in-window purchase.

13. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, algorithms, branding, trademarks, and trade dress of Longlevity are the exclusive property of Citron Labs LLC and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may share your personal results freely for non-commercial purposes but may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service itself without our prior written consent.

14. Third-party services

The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (including Cloudflare for hosting, Resend for email delivery, Stripe for payment processing, and Google Analytics for usage analytics). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

15. Dispute resolution & arbitration

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at contact@longlevity.ai. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in the State of Washington. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

Small-claims exception. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in a small-claims court of competent jurisdiction if the claim qualifies.

Your right to opt out of arbitration. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement (including the class-action waiver below) within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing contact@longlevity.ai with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your account email. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.

CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AND CITRON LABS LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.

16. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. To the extent that arbitration is not applicable, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Citron Labs LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings.

19. Force majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure failures, pandemics, or other force majeure events.

20. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
